Unlike the Soviet Union and German Reich, France is one of the harder nations to play due to her poor industry, weak national focus tree and god-awful traits that she starts with. However, with some modernisation and industrial growth, France in Hearts of Iron can easily become on the most powerful nations in the game to rival the Germans. The Romanian national focus tree can be divided into 7 branches: Preserve Greater Romania Branch This Branch allows Romania to join the Comintern, Axis or Allies or create the Cordon Sanitaire with Poland and Czechoslovakia. We will be presenting focus trees and other content leading up to release, as well as going over other features we haven't shown off yet. But first a word on the expansion pass: The expansion pass for HOI4 was the first one we've done, and we've learned many lessons. For now, though, we figured a good start would be the most popular nation in HOI4: Germany! In the next DLC, Germany will have its focus tree updated to bring it more in line with the new trees of minor nations, especially in terms of alternate history options. Furthermore, even players who do not buy the DLC will see some of these changes.
